I drive a company spec Volvo 670 with a D13 and a 9 speed. So far my company avg. Is 7.1. You can figure actual mileage is several tenths higher. The truck display says 7.7 but after tracking it myself for a couple weeks and I came up with 7.5.

Just finished my Q4 IFTA report, my 2000 Pete 379 averaged 6.2 MPG in Q4. And that was running the speed limit EVERYWHERE including where the Utahrds will let me run 80 MPH!!!

Its a 2000 Peterbilt 379 with a 2006 Cat C15 with a tuned ECU, 8 speed transmission, 3.7 rears and 11R24.5 tires. The previous owner had put 22.5 lo pros on it due to an acute case of anal/cranial inversion. I replaced the tires, had Rush Peterbilt tune the ECU and have been getting 6.7-7.3 mpg since. And since curiosity got the better of me, I took it out on a long desert back road to see how fast it will go. Put my wife in a car with a cb and she went in front to warn me should anyone else be on the road. Truck top speed is 107 MPH, according to my GPS. Not that it will ever see that speed again, I just wanted to know...

Sweet. I still run stock on my mbn and the best I got is 5.7 mpg. Planning to reflash the ecm and put in performance parts.

I like the first gen coronados than the current one. They made it look like the classic xl.

Not sure if this info is useful at all...

    1988 Peterbilt 379 flat top 3406B 15 speed
bobtail from OH to NV 70-80mph the whole way. I got hand calculated 7.2-7.8

I haven't taken any significant enough loads any where yet to determine loaded mpg.
