Mt Pockets finally going O/O!

Been a long time since I last posted! Well Quick update.
Right now I am sitting in Holland Michigan at the Tulip Truck Stop Waiting for my 6 am delivery # Sysco Foods over in Grand Rapids.
I left Hendrickson last Friday after a very poor 4.5 months of Sucking my bank account dry! AND I MEAN DRY!!
They even stuck me on the Fed Ex acct. that they are pushing to the new hires as the place to take your truck. After a few months Trucking up and down the I-5 corridor, I thought that this might be the answer, Mon-Fri. work # 1.50 a mile=1850 miles a week. The pay was the same as if I was pulling a Hendrickson Trailer! But I would be home on the weekends.
Sounds good RIGHT? Wrong. After fuel, all my expenses and what the Company took I was left with a check of about $2800.00 for 2 weeks. and I still had to pay my Maint. and Truck note out of that(for those wondering, my note is 1272 a month)
So I did try out the fed ex thing, Mon-Fri over Donner Pass. Not very good for the truck, Sparks NV to Elk Grove Ca. I bought the truck with Brand new Steers, I had to replace them this past Monday, Donner will beat the crap out of your truck and wreak havoc on your alignment.
A friend reccomended me to a lady out of W. Sac/Foresthill Ca. Her job is to get people their Authority, and they have 10 O/O that work for them. They pay 75% of the gross if I use their Creds. and trailer(I am) and in the meantime she is getting my creds. I have half now. in about a month or so I should have my own Authority, at which time I will get 80%. and If by chance I come across a 53' trailer then I get 90%.
So I have been very busy as you see. So if you see a Blue 670 w/ ATSon the sleeper hola at me!

 

Its not hard getting your own creds, but it is kind of pricey if you live in CA as I do. $2500 just to register my truck for starters
