Mt. Vernon, IN to Houston, TX how would you go?
Need to avoid any toll roads/bridges.
10W across LA construction and weigh stations suck
40W construction sucks but is better than 10
    How would you go?

Yea, that is the better of the two ways I tried. There is a toll bridge when you cross the IL border but no place to stop to pay a toll. It took my picture when I crossed it.

I was thinking that they only charge toll going eastbound, but it has been awhile since I have crossed there.

go across IN. into IL. down 57 to 55. in MO. Down 55 to 40. 40 west to 30 west. In texarkana take texas 59 south (divided highway alway to north side of Houston) Look in your atlas and you will find it. I think its 70 mph all the way.

I agree kidsdad. It's some good running down that route. I run it on a regular basis.
