Nah, I was thinking more like bucking stock. A friend of mine drove for Flying U and he said that the bulls were some of the easiest animals to handle that he'd ever hauled. After awhile they get used to the routine and other than when they're in the ring they're pretty mellow.
That makes sense but I don't think I'd put it to the test.

I know...it's just that hero is a word I can't wrap my mind around. Very few folks around that I'd think of as a hero.

My family used to buy breeding bulls from the Hogans out of Idaho many years ago... Hogan also raised rodeo stock, and thier drivers said the same thing.

I'm fairly certain you have passed me more than a few times. Years ago I got in the habit of watching for other bullracks to see if it was anyone I may have known. Well the habit hasnt died... And I recognise that truck. You run Nebraska quite frequently right?

Couple of pics of the trucks I used to run... They were taken with an old flip phone, so they dont do the W9 justice.

The one in the dark was taken on a moonless winter night at the Jerome, ID stock yard.

I run a lot of Nebraska.

A friend of mine has one really close runs out that way too

Next time you think it’s me give a holler on the radio. I usually have it on just in case. I may not recognize someone lookin for wore out....but cow truck, bull rack or Cooter generally get my attention
