The chrome luber finer is what sets it off. I don’t know if they are worth a ####, but boy they are sexy

The guy that I bought Turtle (its nickname. Old, green, and slow) from had a bunch of parts trucks.
Two things I told him I had to have. A Luberfiner, (this one is the genuine Peterbilt version) and a Grilledensor grille.
I put them both on, and they are functional.
I run a 1 micron Harvard 7502 element in it. Love it.

Did you haul any cattle out of the Russell Springs Stockyard. My Grandad and I went there most Wednesday’s of the weeks I got to spend in the country growing up. Burkesville is not far from there.

I wouldn't have guessed you could still find luberfiner cartridges.

The fella that taught me to drive had a 1970 Pete with a 318 in it. It had a luberfiner oil filter and one of those square air filters on the passenger side. I have a recollection of taking the cartridges in to town to get them cleaned. That doesn't sound right, but I know we took something in for cleaning. Anyway, I always thought they were good idea.
