When I opened the housing up the first time, it had that element on the right in it.
I could see having something like that cleaned. No idea where you would find one of them.
The element on the left is what I use. Comes from Harvard Lubrication. (They sell housings also, but they look slightly different.) It is a 1 micron element. I run it 30,000 miles. Combined with a Fleetguard LF 9009 (Stratopore element ) full flow filter that gets changed every 15,000 miles along with the oil, the oil in this ole mechanical N-14 stays beautifully clean.cke, Cowpuncher575, SL3406 and 12 others Thank this. -

I loaded with a true legend at Russell Springs a few times. They only made 1 Pillsbury. Mr. Hensley was as good a man as ever walked this earth.
Talked my wife into taking me to Sonic. Doughboy had to tag along get his K-9 cream cup. (Our sonic keeps some little dog ice cream cups no idea where they get them but they are not too bad)

March 2021 I fueled beside him in Smiths Grove Ky.
As I was fueling I thought his motor sounded different than most Cats. When he walked around the truck I asked him about it, he smiled, said, “It’s a C18, you wanna see it?” I’m like absolutely!
We stood around there and talked motors, trucks, etc for 30 minutes.
His one comment thoroughly tickled me. He said, “I don’t need 1,000 hp, but I don’t like following anyone, so it sure comes in handy for stay out front when we’re going somewhere.” -

I had an 06 Pete 385 with an ACERT in it.
Blew a head gasket at 826,000 miles, bone stock. #4 liner was low.
Inframed it. 16/1 pistons, 800 cam, o-ringed Cat head, 0.0045” liner protrusion, deleted the precooler, factory 475-550 injectors, and turbos. John Faulkner tuned it.
It was an absolute animal. 60psi boost, could not get the pyro over 1,000° post turbo, and would slip a 2050 clutch if you weren’t careful. John said 750-770 wheel hp, and I believe it.
A guy approached me about buying it, and I sold it. Detuned it to 625ish, and he loves it.
