    Quick question:

I've got a multi-stop load and the last one is the hazmat. The trailer is placarded. But I have a non-hazmat delivery in the middle of a big city that restricts hazmat before that.

Is that legal as long as a have the BOLs?

No. But call the local DOT and explain your situation.

    I don't think I have to.

My company has a drop yard with local drivers that can deliver it.

    Thanks.

Your company should know the rules and more IMPORTANTLY inform drivers of them when it comes to hazmat… Great job on your part asking about something you’re unsure of…
