Expect to encounter heavy snow in Colorado over the next week. There are three storms looking to hit the Colo. Mtn's beginning tonight through next Monday. This first storm could drop 4" to 18" depending on the part of the state, it should start to snow anytime after 4am Tuesday. The next storm is due Thursday, expect another 6" to 14" out of it. This second storm and the third will probably also dump 4" to 8" in the Denver area as well.

It doesn't bother me... during the day. At night I'll still run but I don't like to. My co-driver on the other hand scares the **** out of me in the snow

I can't run at night in the winter when temps drop below 30 degrees. When the road looks wet, yet there's no mist coming off of the drive tires my red flag mental alarm, and my common sense bell goes off in my head alerting me to park somewhere safe asap! Does anyone else get mentally and physically drained driving during a snowstorm in the mountains at night? Whenever I park after driving in those conditions I get some of the best sleep ever!

I get sapped quick when I try to drive in the snow at night. I think a lot of it is because you are trying to focus even more so you don't get hypnotized by the snow. That's what I have the biggest problem with

Well my load got switched I had to relay my Denver load in Kansas City now I have to pick up and go to Salt Lake. Joy, why do I have the feeling I'm jumping out of the frying pan into the fire? Lol :biggrin_2556:

Come on into the fire. It's nice and warm in here. :biggrin_2559:

Driving in a snowstorm is more mentally tiring and tires your eyes faster. Your eyes focus and sense the movement of all of the snowflakes. That tires you out faster. You actually have to up your calorie intake driving in that weather. You will still tire out, but, your energy will not drain as fast.
