Use a piece of cardboard from the back room that has "emergency break dancing mat" written on it, then break finger at next stop after sliding off of lift gate.

You amuse yourself reading situations about Murphy's law of Trucking.

Icy pools in front of the landing gear crank that are deeper than they look. Trailers spotted so close together you have to crawl underneath and use the handle at an angle. (No shag drivers in sight). Crank handles that are put on the trailer from another brand and are way too long, and smack you in the boob when everyone is watching you twirl it in the middle with two fingers. Yes, it left a mark.

You finish throwing and tightening 15 straps and 8 chains on a complicated load when the shipper says, "Wait! We forgot there's one more 40 foot drill motor we need on this load!"
Of course in order to get that last piece on the deck means taking off all the securement and rearranging the load. -
You arrive at your destination on a little side street where you have to back in from the street. A four wheeler hasn't come down the street in almost an hour. You start to back in and 12 cars suddenly want to come through.
