Truck stop shopping is expensive! Try to do your shopping at a Walmart, Winco, etc, when you're home, or can get a truck in a parking lot (safely! If you can work it out, head for a Walmart early in the morning when the parking lot is mostly empty), and even then be aware that they may not allow it. If they ask you to move, very politely ask them if you may just park there while you shop, but if they say no, then move along. Best to get as much shopping done on your home time as you can.

A good dash or windshield mounted phone holder and hands free bluetooth to talk with. Don't be a moron with your phone in your lap trying to text or make calls. Have the phone easily accessible in front of you and only text after you have safely stopped.

20181020_121105.jpg Walmart, TA truck stops sell a $20 tactical flashlight invented by a Navy pilot that has been a Godsend.

Dust mask with P-100 filter that will give you some protection against lead and asbestos.

    Howard Leight hearing protector earmuffs.

And I hate to have to say this but Walmart also sells a wide mouth jug that makes for a good urinal. It empties real fast during my early morning walk into the woods.

Why the scoffing? If you don't want one, don't buy one. The fact is, there are multiple styles of flashlight that fall under the category of tactical by the way they're designed.

    From Wikipedia:
"Features particularly associated with tactical lights include shock resistance, reliability, lightweight construction and powerful, long-lasting batteries, and high light intensity...Because the flashlight needs to be reliable and rugged, specialized, more expensive tactical flashlights are generally used by law enforcement officers and soldiers, rather than inexpensive consumer-grade units...Smaller tactical flashlights often have crown-like protrusions around the lens to enable its use as a weapon by hammerfist strike."

Only bring what you can pack in a bag and carry on your own in one trip to the bus station to get yourself home.
