OK here is the deal. I am 28 years old and have been driving since 2001 the first two years for DOT Foods and after that for my mother in law, who decided because of the fuel prices to sell the truck. I have been out of the truck since September of 2006 and during that time I received 3 ticket in my personal car. one for speed 1 to 10 miles over the limit one for a stop sign violation and one for speeding 20 to 25 miles over the limit. I have no felonies no DUI or accidents or any thing else in me background to hold me back. but I have been turned down for EVERY single job I have applied for because of the one speeding ticket 20 to 25 miles over the limit. I am a vary loyal trucker who knows my job vary well. and my former employer (my mother in law) has nothing but positive things to say about me. At this point I am making no money and I am facing foreclosure on my house, needless to say the situation is getting desperate.
my question is, is there any trucking companies that will hire me.
any feedback or comments are welcome.

The only thing I can say is often times, three years is the cut-off for accidents and SERIOUS violations. I know that's not what you want to hear, but true none the less. I would like to know if you've applied to any of the big companies with reputations for hiring lieniency such as Swiff, Warnher, etc. I would think they'd be your best bet. Good luck, slow down, and spell "vary" with an e.

i have aplied for both these companies and they are not interested.
does anybody know of a way to remove a speeding ticket of 20 to 25 over from your record. -
N/P Once again..... I'm no expert, but have heard folks talk about hiring high-priced lawyers to fight them with some success, but it's too late now, or is it.......?
Just an afterthought. If you haven't actually pulled your MVR, do it. I pulled mine twice within a month or so. One listed all accidents as it should have, the second one was as clean as a whistle for previous 5 years (erroneously). Good luck. -
