MVR Question

    Thinking of heading down this road but before I look too much into schools what exactly is looked at from MVR side of it? I don't have any DUIs, no wreckless driving charges and no speeding tickets for years and years. I was however involved in an accident where a woman pulled out in front of me and there was a collision - this was probably 4+ years ago. The cops came, filed a report and her insurance paid for the damage to my vehicle. Being here in North Carolina you often see in the papers where accidents occur but no one is charged - I know for a fact that I did not get a ticket and my insurance didn't go up.

    Would my MVR have this entry on it? If not should I list anything on the app forms for school? And if it is there on my MVR with it being 4+ years ago how would that be looked upon?

    Had a guy fall asleep and run into the back of my truck. No ticket= no accident. Shouldnt be anything on there. Nothing on mine.

    Go to your state's local Motor Vehicle Dept and get a court purpose MVR.
    The accident will most likely be listed on there, with the exact date.

    Your job applications may only ask for tickets/accidents within so many years.
    If it occurred 4 years ago and they ask for incidents within the last 3 years, then no need to list it.
    If it is within the application's time frame, you'll have to list it, and just explain you were not at fault.
    Based on what you said, it should not be any problem with employment.

    Any online site will just charge you more than going directly your state DMV will.

    Get it directly from the state where you have your diver’s license at.
