    Ok drivers I have a question . Back in 1/9/2017 I paid a failure to stop for red light ticket. This shows up on my mvr. I got the ticket when I was driving a city bus. The photo camera flashed me . I want to apply for a courier position or medical transport job that doesn't require cdl... Will this ticket hurt the chances of getting a job.. or should just wait more time

    you ran a red light.

    you paid the fine.

    it will be on your DMV for life, but the immediate time it can run out is 3 to 5 years, depending on your state.

    this may or may not make you employable at some companies, due to insurance companies dictating who gets hire.

    or at the very least, if you do get hired, you will have to use your own vehicle. since some courier companies make you use your own vehicle WITH insurance.

    Aren’t those red light camera tickets just fines- meaning no points or anything on your license?

    And why 5 threads exactly the same thing? Ones enough

    some states (like mine) it's a civil offense.

    some states may tag your DMV as a moving violation.

    he has to find that out for himself at his DMV.

    and yes, too many threads of the same question.
