Yes, the new bearings were installed with the crankshaft in the block. the journal on the crankshaft doesnt really look damaged. it Has 1 scratch around the journal and the rest is smooth. All the other main bearings are ok. they dont even have a scratch on them... no sign of heat as well.
Should I scrap the block because of this?

If the top bearing was rolled in without dry ice The clearance from crank to block has been compromised due to the bearing movement when spun. This block will never hold a bearing tight until re-machined. There is nobody that does this to my knowledge as only stock main bearings are available.
So. To bluntly answer your question, the block is junk -

What I have to say may be helpful in future.
I always use Rotella T4 10W/30. And good filters . I change filters twice. Once when doing oil change and then again in middle of use which I run well over 40k miles and sometimes , ore.
But I have had no issues with bearings. I also adjust my valve lash occasionally , not sure if what that affects if not done .Niassa Thanks this. -

After changing to new ocv and fuel doser injector, I get all these codes .
I paid KW to do a Regen and they did not but instead told me to bring truck in so they could figure this out. I won't let them work on it.
I pulled these codes with my eld. Same codes kw pulled.
Edit :
I just noticed the upper hose disconnected from ocv. May have broken .
Would that cause any of these codes to appear ?Attached Files:

First off, Troubleshooting from ELD is not reliable. But I will give you what I can interpret from what you shared the best I can>
First, your Fuel doser fault is electrical in nature and not a plugged or flow condition. If the fault is still occurring, you likely have a wiring issue from the EAS to the doser since the doser has already been replaced.
As for the CCV module you have the correct updated part and it now contains a serviceable filter. I would start with checking all fuses- With no rotor speed it is possible the old module blew the fuse. If the fuse is good, check power and ground at the CCV module if you still have no rotor speed after run time.
It appears you are also have a bad outlet NOX sensor. Faults are indicating biased or internal sensor error.
To get more- I really need codes as logged in Davie and fault status of active or Inactive.

Where do I find the fuse for the ocv ?
KW did not print me off their codes. Just showed them to me.
Also engine running good. I drive it 65mph 100 miles to kw and 100 home. Did not use any oil that I could tell. -
I hate to guess with no chassis info.
579/T680 fuse location is in the under hood fuse box. Check all engine fuses. It will not be labeled CCV. Just check them all.markk Thanks this.
