I love this site as a new driver it is so helpful and full of information. What i have seen so far out on the road is that alot of drivers hate their job and got into it because it sounded easy. It is a job "work", and if you dont wanna "work" your not in the right business. Yes i have only been driving for a month and i am only 23 but i know that i am at the bottom of the barrel trying to prove myself. Trust me i have been screwed to but i wanna do this for a living and i am putting everything into this career, driving has been my dream since i was little. I went to Werner told them everything about when i got into trouble everyone said i was good, then 3 weeks later safety called me in and told me i was dq'd and to clean out my truck. Before i even left the terminal i had a job with swift. Trucking is what you make it, and so far i am making it.
