Ok so since I've been back at builders now for little over 2 months my 2013 pinnacle has been giving me issues with its air conditioning.
When they issued me the truck it was obvious by the brand new compressor that it was just recently replaced. This was verified by a record search via the company database. It started going from cold to hot for a day or so then back to cold for a week or two then back to hot. Take it to ta,they vacuum out the coolant and pressure test the system all is good. Pump it back in and top it off, system is running ice cold for about 2 weeks, then it's right back to blowing hot again. Second time it went down we took it to a dealer, dealer days is blowing cold, nothing they can do on a weekend anyways. Day or two later I'm in memphis and it's blowing hot, so off to the company shop i go. They find 2 plugs, one on the high side that is bad, the other is the on off switch that has a bad ground. System works for another week and here i sit with it blowing hot, and I'm shutdown in North west Wisconsin roasting. Company will put me in a hotel if i call them, but I'm just sick of the ########.
Can anyone give me an idea to tell them where to start their search?

With all the work you had done already has anyone considered even though the compressor is fairly newish it may be the problem.

No ideas really, i called them this morning and they say they are going to discuss the issue with the mack contacts in memphis and go from there. However i dont really care at this point. I put in to be a load securement trainer and with that comes a new cascadea condo.

I work for BTC and had the same problem. All it was was a connection that got shorted out.

Bet it's the expansion valve sticking

Well I'm currently in the mack dealer in Charlotte nc. Hoping they can get it fixed

Temperature actuator on heater box behind passenger dash. Controls the flapper door for heat/cold. Common issue on ABF fleet of Mack's that I work on. Actuator is cheap ($35) replacing is kind of PITA!
