I personally think that an owner operator could do better when they're picking their own loads vs somebody in the office trying to assign you a load because it suits them in the office not the owner operator.

Tough day today. Unloaded in Heyburn ID and went to the truck stop and the freight I thought I had coming out bailed on me. So I sat and called... and called watched the board. Finally booked 1.86 a mile after 120 mile deadhead picking up in Utah going to Penrose CO so Taking a reset in Snowville UT at the J then pick up Monday at 0700.
Persistence paid off today I guess.mjg4015 Thanks this. -
I may end up buying a pre emissions truck before my lease is up and just leasing back on. Time will tell.Mulholland316 Thanks this. -

375 is a lot more reasonable than some of the megas charging 900+. Is it what they call a walkaway lease?

It's been a really busy week. Grossed right at $6200 on 3250 miles very happy with that. I just dead headed 700 miles from Massachusetts home, as my house and family are in a direct path of the hurricane coming. I love it here!! Will be another nice check this week.

Does CRT Malone allow you to pull broker freight that's not on the load board?

I gave heard good things from Malone drivers. Pretty as poster has said, they have freight just don't mess your self up and you can make it . Plus fuel is lower at the moment that helps too.
