22 down to 15, that sounds about like my class. We had the usual wiz quiz fails and they whittled out a few job hoppers. One kid, I say kid cuz he looked like he couldn't have been much older than 21. Anyway he shows up middle of the week, says he cought the wrong greyhound, rob takes him in to do his pee test and we never saw him again. Turns out he had a vile of someone else's pee and rob booted him. All in all that was the most interesting orientation I've ever been through.

Playa has done pretty well for himself hauling what you apparently have determined to be "cheap freight". If you can't or won't haul it for that, don't, but your criticism, constructive or otherwise, isn't welcomed or appreciated in this particular thread.

Ok idk what you think is good paying freight but... National average as of this week is $1.93 per mile, now we get 75% of that and it's $1.44 per mile to our truck. These are flatbed rates too btw just straight flatbed. So playa got $961.1 as his cut, that means his load payed a total of $1281.46 before crst takes their cut that's $2.33 per mile for that load. That's $0.40 per mile above national average. If that's your idea of cheap freight please tell me where your loading so I can get in on your action

Well got that tarp killing pipe unloaded Thursday morning. Guy tells me I wasnt suppose to tarp it.....that he keeps telling the sales guy that..stupid bol says "Must be tarped". It all sits outside anyway. Gonna need about 5 tarp repair patches. I hated that load so much.
Anyways, got a load of bagged cement. The 4k lb bags. 10 of them. Tarped strapped on each row and criss crossed in front and back. Easy load going to knoxville, tn for monday morning. Load going by my house was taken so taking a restart 4 hours from home. Hate missing holidays sometimes. Comes with the job.
My first week has veen nothing both all tarp loads. Not that bad just takes some getting use to covering the load. Had a guy help me yesterday and it messed up the way i like to tarp. His way is the tight christmas present looks all beautiful. Mine is more about getting it aerodynamic and keeping it dry. Im not trying to be beautiful.... Enjoy yalls weekend. Glad to be back in Dixie.

It's officially my birthday today as well. If anybody cares... Lol! I'll spend the majority of it familiarizing myself with the load board. I really like what I've seen. Alot of freight, and the majority of it is right at and above $2.

Competition has really driven the rates down on those tractors. There are people hauling them cheaper than 1.75. There are idiots hauling full 8 ft tarp flatbed loads for 1.40-1.50 per mile. Crazy, those aren't even good van rates.
