Just a thought, have you looked at a full service lease? International and PacLease have exceptional lease deals right now. Around $2,000 a month and everything from the tires to the top of the stacks is covered.

I usually go out of route back to I10 then 54 through NM to I40. Careful if you decide to leave the mine and head north though the salt river canyon will kill you if you take it too fast.

Truck registration, long sleeves, boots, pants, license hard hat, glasses when you get out of your truck to check in or you'll be walking back to put it on to check in lol. And if you don't have decals with your truck number on your truck and trailer number on the front and back of your trailer don't show up until you do they will make you leave

I ended up going north outta the mine to route 70 east to i10 not sure if it saved any time but it shaved a few miles off and I got to see some landscape I haven't seen before. Not a bad place to load out of, pretty easy load.

    Lonesome and playamwj12 Thank this.

This weekend changes things a bit. A lot a bit, after many thoughts, prayers, sleepless nights I've decided to leave Malone.

Monday I drop my truck in Oklahome City and come to Texas to start work with my new 12.7 liter pre EGR glider for Triple C Transit.

This wasn't an easy decision but one that needed to be made. I love Malone but it's getting too expensive to work here. I've paid $24,000 into maintenance and I have an alternator that won't charge past 13.3 volts and they haven't fixed it, bad drive tire, clutch going out, EGR on its last leg. They prefer me to get this done at a CRST shop to save them labor, which i understand but they are sooooooooooo slow and will take more than what it's worth to get done.

We've had less loads available in the last few weeks about 200 on the board for a 950ish truck company which isn't good IMO.

I've still managed to stay loaded, and get decent rates but it's becoming harder and harder. Some might be due to the industry changing, some due to Malone trying to book for volume, not to make profit.

I've had a lot of fun here, it's taught me a lot and I look forward to continuing my own business at Triple C.

Thank you for reading, chatting, asking questions and being there for help when needed. Please stay in touch y'all and God Bless
