I have lived the solution to the DMV hellfire and brimstone over the last 20 years or so with CDL's
1- Get grandfathered.
2- Live in a town less than 4000.
3- Revenuer Office to renew tests and endorsements, two hours paperwork max and fees. Picture and done.
4- identify and eliminate unecessary endorsements keep those which have immediate financial value such as tanker work and air brakes. That reduces your written test tanking to less than a hour.
5- put new CDL in pockeet and go. In those days Medical card not necessary or immediate requirement to get CDL renewed.
Today? Everything has changed for the worse. I for one should be grateful I no longer deal with the CDL ######## which seems to worsen in requirements, fees, time consumed and confusion for those unfamiliar with ur Language and unfmiliawrr -
