My adventures with Western Pacific Truck School Modesto CA

Yeah I totally understand. This whole process has taken me close to four months now. Not everyone can sit around waiting for them to make up their minds about whether or not to give out the money. I'm lucky to have understanding family to stay with right now so I don't have to worry about rent and such. Plus that means once I am on the road I'll be able to save up more money as well. #### I can't wait to finally be making a paycheck again, being broke SUCKS! lol

 

Well I got a call from my WIA caseworker monday & she still hasn't heard from her supervisor about me yet so I won't be starting school this week. She said I will definitely hear back in the next week or 2. So if I do get approved, after 4 months of jumping through their hoops lol, I'll be starting school on Feb 17 and finishing on April 8. I contacted Sandy, the recruiter for W&S, today to let her know whats going on and I'm waiting to hear back from her now. Hopefully all these delays are going to hurt my chances with them.

Once I finally start school I'll use this thread to post my daily happenings at WePac.

So I start school on Feb 17! Guess that means I can finally change my status from wannabe to student! I'll update here as I progress in school.

 

Yeah I'm pretty stoked. Can't wait to finally get started. Already started reading the CDL handbook and taking the practice tests online.

 

Yeah I took both the CDL tests on the DMV site and only got one question wrong

 

Thanks! Orientation is the 17th and My first day of school is the 21st. I can't wait to finally get started.
