All right got my permit today!!
Start driving on Tuesday.

Having the training from WPTS MOD really made taking the tests a snap and with confidence.
Also having all the paper work and fees ready before you get there a real time and stress saver!!!

Had graduation today.
Got my $5000 coffee mug.
An hour before graduation Watkins & Shepard told the school they have verified my employment, and I should be on a bus to Montana this weekend.
Can't wait to get the hell out of Modesto for a while. -
Congratz on both!!
You worked hard and you got it.
Good luck and post your threads from Montana and W&S.jet460 Thanks this. -
Good luck with Watkins. From everything I've heard/read they are a good company. I noticed you started a thread in the Watkins section, I'll be sure to check in there & keep track of your adventures. Again, good luck!

My group had our first day of field training today.
We coupled, uncoupled, practiced interior & exterior pre-trip and air brake c.o.l.a.
But the best part was backing practice!!
Woo Hoo, Im moving the truck. LOL
Tomorrow, ON THE ROAD.
Cant wait. -
Hopefully you will drive the white trucks on the road.
They shift better than the black one.
FYI: If it seems hard to put it in gear, let the clutch out half way and it pops right in.
Who is your yard instructor?
Keep the updates coming. -
Yeah, he told us about getting it in gear and after a few times it came pretty quick.
Still a rookie and a long ways to go.
LOL
