Must be all the flames.

 

On July 4th, the Denver area (and all along the front range) was dealing with smoke coming primarily from a fire outside of Laramie WY. Even with the fires near Fort Collins (60 miles away) and Colorado Springs (70 miles), we in Denver didn't have smoke that bad until 7/4.

 

I forgot about thd fires. Maybe that is why it was so bad.

I drop off a load of flour in portland at noon. After that i dont know yet.

 

Hi Punisher, noobie here. I followed your thread, well skimmed some, from the very beginning. I'm seriously looking at WePac in Sac. (whoa, that rhymes). Actually going to sit in on an orientation soon. Appears to be a somewhat more expensive than others but probably (hopefully?) worth every penny. Thanks for the info, it's a great resource.

Now, after following your journey all this time, I'm kinda wondering...what's up? Have you stuck with any one co. yet? I am somewhat impressed that you've avoided OTR because I fully expect to be doing that, at least for the 1st year- if, that is, I decide to pursue a truck driving career...

I can only speak for myself, but WPTS got me my CLD. The real training comes once you start with a company.

I will start my orientation tomorrow with CFL as I'm a recent grad.

I chose to go local. OTR as a last resort. There are jobs out there you just have to hit the pavement and put out a lot of resumes.
