My advice to drivers that pee out of their trucks.

You would be amazed at how many ways you can be classified as a sex offender. If you are 18 and got caught having sex with your 17 year old girlfriend you are now one.

 

Pissing around the truck is no different than pissing In your yard at home. And as far as the law well maybe there's an amendment that would allow for you're right to go to the bathroom if none exists in the current area.

 

Are you aware that when you're called into a scale house, the DOT officers check your shoes for pee splatters and if they see them, there's a good chance they'll inspect your truck just to check if you peed on the parking lot.

Sounds like something Nazi camp officers did in Auschwitz or mean prison guard in federal maximum security prison. When it gets to this level of contempt for truckers, it's time for truckers to hold a total month long national strike and shut the country down and come up with a multi-institutional contract from DOT to pay to rest stops, etc.

However, the type of person who stays with abusive mega carrier is complicit in the lack of respect afforded truckers.

It IS different if you're pissing (or worse) in a parking lot.

And I don't think any of us are talking about going outside when there is nowhere else to go. We're talking about being lazy and entitled, rather than just walking inside to the toilet.

 

I have a good friend who was driving in the country and pull into a logging road at night because he had to take a leak. Well some young deputy charged him with indecent exposure. Now every year he has to get fingerprinted and picture because that got him on the registered sex offender list. When people move in close by they see him listed and assume he is some sort of predator.

 

Its nothin to do with how much but your choices in where.....

 

I always like your stories of the things you did when you were a young deputy.

Kind of a rough move to do to your own buddy though.

 

I was a Trooper for the state the deputy worked for the county.
