Hey truckers, first off thanks for the luck wishing on Mondays test l have. Im pretty sure l can and will pass. My problem is alley docking, but im sure one pull up will do. But back to CRE taking my CDL, what happen was l got a letter by mail from Sacramento, Ca. Telling me that my training wasn't certified. So CRE so called trainer/DMV instructor, didnt renew his Credentials causing him to not be certified to pass any permit driver. I was givin 30days to retake the test, but by that time l was already turned off with trucking. Now l see by this site l wasnt the only one whom experience a bad CRE training.![]()

De ja vu......
I read a post almost just like this but it was a swift driver....but ended better....hmmm. -
There are hundreds of stories like that on this forum. Just insert any of the bottom feeder's company names. When I was with my trainer he did the same thing every other week. But at least he left me the keys and told me to practice my backing skills around the truck stop while he was at home!
walstib Thanks this. -
well i wonder how you unlocked the truck with no keys??? If it was me i would of went out on the town with my cousin and just come back to the truck when your trainer was ready to roll again.Your trainer must of not liked you much and probably liked that you were long gone when he came back. Did you complain alot? I'm sure there is more to the story then what your telling but even if there isn't then party with your cuz for 3 days and get your ace back to the truck and roll on!!! good luck to you in your new career.

No offense but i was trainer until going company solo a week ago off a successful lease.
1. If you were honest your trainer is either:1.fired or 2.Removed from being allowed to train!
If you had called Chris the terminal manager at Burns Harbor, your trainer would've been toast, it is against England policy for a Trainer to Not put you up in a hotel/motel while on hometime, or to leave you in an area without food, shower and laundry facilities. Of course you callewd your TC didn't you, news flash......THE TC'S DON'T GIVE AN AIRBORNE FASATPACED FORNICATION ABOUT YOU!! You should have called a manager.
Why didn't you have a key to the truck? Just curious, i gave all my students a spare key, and every trainer i know did the same!
Lets be clear, i'm not calling you a liar, there are pepole as worthless as rattlesnake tits training for c.r.england, this is foremost why i became a trainer, to spare just a few trainees "Uncaring pricks" for trainers, i was making money solo lease. I'm just saying you needed to pull rank, when your TC did not do anything about the guy leaving you to rot, you should've called Chris Kelsey at Burns Harbor, i know for a fact he demonstrated how the door works to exit to more than one trainer who did what you describe.
As far as DAC, well , UsXpress did that for me, i showewd up for orietation did not even getr through the physical because i forgot my Sleep apnea compliance letter, they sent me home and said come back in 30 days with the letter, meanwhile i applied and got hired elsewhere, so U.SXpress because i didn't wait and come back in 30 days put down on my DAC that they fired me!!
Here's what you do......USIS the company that keeps the DAC's allows you to submit letters of rebuttal, contesting the company's report about you, it may not change the DAC but at least when somebody looks you up theyt get your side as well as England's.
It won't do a lot of good anyway, because as far as the industry is concerned you have "ZERO" experience and won't be hired by anyone else anyway. Maybe it's not to late to call Chris Kelsey and he can help you get back oin with a better trainer, not all oif them are #######! -
You were a trainer with 0-1 year experience???
-
Ooops! did not see second post about going to third party CDL school, thats where i got my credentials too, not CRE.
Advice for test, don't get nervous and be distracted by the tester, stay frosty, concentrate and unless recieving instructions from the tester just image he/she/it doesn't exist, just drive the truck and get through it.
]
Good luck, and maybe we'll see you on the big road.
PS just because i work for ENGLAND, does not mean i'm loyal to ENGLAND, my people are Pennsylvania Deutch!!!! -
No offense but i was trainer until going company solo a week ago off a successful lease.
Trainer and completed a lease all in 1 year
-
Yea ain't it CRE that lets you train if you have a day more experience then your trainee? or was it Covenant?
