Over $800 after taxes it's 10 cents per mile plus 5 cents mileage bonus, 5 cents on time bonus, and 4 cents fuel bonus. That's not too bad for just starting out. I've been rolling for a month and a half straight and still going.

Yes me and my trainer still go at it often but I'm dealing with it, I don't mind putting someone in their place. If he didn't see the value in driving with me have would have gotten a new trainee. My training period was over last month. Now he doesn't get training pay but he doesn't want to get a new trainee. We're the odd couple team for sure. But I must say CC has some awful trailers. The shop fixes them for us but we keep having to go there it's a real pain but that's how it is. I've driven two trailers ####ed to the side for over six hours each.

I'm relieved to hear hey have bonuses like that. I thought you were only gonna make 10 cpm. I'm surveyors driving, your ads off for it, but you're making good money for a brand new driver.

    Chinatown Thanks this.

Not bad money at all. Heck some experienced drivers don't make that much. Plus you've proven you can run, you have a bright future my man!

What kind of trucks does Carolina Cargo run? Are they all Peterbuilts?

I am soon to be starting with CC after my fiancée has our baby at the end of the month. And some of what I have read about your bouts with your trainer are discouraging but glad to hear you are getting miles and the seat time. Which is important. Just hang in there bud and just like everyone else I am rooting for ya.

One other thing, the pay and the bonuses does fall in line with what I was told I'd be making as well. So, that is refreshing. I'm just hoping my training experience is better than yours.
