My DPF is killing me , what can i do? Idont go to california

OP, what DPF maint are you doing?

Seems the most successful guys with second and third gen emissions trucks(DPF and DPF/SCR)have DPF cleaning performed as regular maintenance once a year, regardless of mileage.

There are other things such as dosers and so forth that should be maintained and if they aren't, people start getting into big problems.

What is your current engine setup and what has your maint. schedule been?

Something else that might help you is regular use of a Cetane booster (Like FPPF Cetane 8+) to reduce particulate loading of the DPF and reduce regens. My brother in law has had great success with this in all his 08 and up trucks.
