Not with out a warrant.. and if they are digging that much then they are looking to blame you anyway so you've already lost it..

I do the same thing when my qcomm goes down. We had a company wide issue and I got to run paper for a week. It was nice not having to wait exactly 30 minutes and not a second earlier to roll.

I tried a new breed log once, I hated it...

Now I’m in a glider, back on paper, and loving life again...

Not even close to being outlaw, but not something I’d boast about on the internet either.

As long as your camera times match in FL you won’t have much to worry about.

Mmm, they don't need a warrant. Your aren't at home in a house, you are in a CMV.

A warrant is required to get data from telecoms.. Meaning they'd have to go before a judge and show evidence you did something.. Meaning if they go that far, they already have you they are just building the case at that point.

Also a cop can not get into your cell phone with out a warrant either.. Doesn't matter if you drive a CMV you didn't give away your Constitutional rights by sitting in the drivers seat...

Ok, why would they need a warrant? Not for some random traffic stop right?

Did I mention an accident? an accident that wasn't even your fault?

They are going to get a warrant then right?

I don’t have to run nearly as hard with my paper logs compared to the ELDs. I can stop to take breaks whenever I want then make up the time somewhere compared to the ELD where I had to go balls out nearly every day to get where I had to be.

All vehicles should have e-logs since all drivers cause deadly accidents. Everyone should only have a 14 hour window every day to drive, and require 10 hours away from the drivers seat in the 24 hour period. Why not? The scum bags told us truckers that it’s required for safety, so everyone should have to do it.

That's what I'm trying to say. It's not what you can do, you get shafted from what someone else does. And if you didn't play the cards right, then their problem is now your problem because of a technicality, even if it the "accident" was their error.

Don't worry about my opinion. Just keep playing the lottery. Some people never have to pay the piper. Some people do.
