My Experiance with Watkins Shepard!

So after 41 days on the road I got to enjoy a whole 16 hours at home before having to go back out for at least a month.....



Anyway so I got all of 5 hours of sleep last night after running around all day and got up at 5am EST. In my apartment in Charlotte, NC. Left around 6am and headed to the Conover, NC terminal. Got there at 7:30 am and loaded and warmed up my truck and went to hook to my trailer.

While hooking to my trailer, Chris (chralb) walked over lol this is the second time in 2 weeks we've been at the same terminal at the same time and the 2nd time in a row I didn't notice his truck there lol

Anyhoo so I hung out with him for a few hours and then Rolled out of there at 11am. I drove pretty hard all day, drove a full 11 hours and drove the most miles in one day i've ever done in a big truck 704 miles!

Now sitting in my make believe parking spot in Little Rock, AR....


Turns out i'm only going to knock off one state I haven't been to on this load (TX) since I'm taking I-40 to I-30 into TX instead of I-10 which would have knocked off LA...


all in all a great day, tomorrow I'll have a short day so I can get some sleep so I can be ready to start throwing furniture on Monday Morning, First stop....62 Pieces!

So last night I took a 10 hour break, usually there nothing special eat/shower/sleep well I had a BIG night last night. I'm not going to post anything about it just yet (i know i know then why did you tell us) because I want to wait for it all to be final and set in stone in which it is not right now. BUT I will tell you it has nothing to do with Watkins Shepard or Trucking in anyway but it is/can/will change my life quite a bit...I'll post about it ASAP

Then after that I got up drove 305 miles to Texas and parked and been sitting here ever since. I only worked 5 hours today! lol

I have 4 stops tomorrow and then 9 on tueseday, I'm going to try and get half of them done tomorrow, some are REALLY far apart but we'll see...


I am now also on a Mission to try and get a load going to Syracuse, NY, I'm not going to tell you why either
