The way they teach you to do it is the right way. It just sucks having to do it though, also when you get your truck make sure to pull your chains off and give them a look over, you would be supprised what isnt and is there.

I kinda miss Conover, but at the same time I dont. LOL...

I'm not looking forward to doing it on the side of the road at 2am in the snow when its -30 but, I'm excited to learn how to do it lol. I'll definitely check them out, thanks for the heads up.

So far I really like it here, everyone I've met has been really nice thats all the office guys/safety and even the drivers have all been really cool. Quite a few have come over while we were practicing on the yard to give us tips for being on the road and working for the company....

If not asking for to much, could you take some pics of the outside of the terminal and maybe some inside? Everythings been a great read and I'm looking forward to some more, especially of the "10 days".

Hey AT, practicing on a Sunday, eh? Good man.
I was heading south on I85 towards Atlanta tonight and passed a W/S rig heading to Charlotte. Made we wonder how you were making out today. So somebody new who you were. Guess they're reading your posts. Like D1 said, kinda spooky.
Well, Monday starts a whole new week training wise. You're coming to the end of it. By this time next week if all goes well you'll be hauling.
So stay focused, and pay close attention. Things could move more quickly than they did the first week.American-Trucker Thanks this. -
Great pics, AT....The best thing about Conover is there actually room to maneuver there...wait till you get to SFS, or Phoenix. The terminals are a joke trying to get a trailer in and out in certain spots. I wish SFS was as large as Conover, but they'd prolly fill it up with too many trailers and we'd be in the same spot we're in now...LOL

a paved yard?? they are spoiling you guys over there!
American-Trucker Thanks this. -
I, for one, will prefer to be spoiled...a little anyways.

Thanks!
The pictures I have posted are all from outside the terminal, and as far as inside I don't know if they might have a problem with me taking pictures of the inside so I'm not going to risk it. But it's just offices, Driver Lounge/bathroom/shower, and a warehouse. Sorry
