My Experiance with Watkins Shepard!

I got up at 7am so that I'd be ready to roll when I got a load and I sit and sit and sit and Finally at 11am I get a load! BUT I can pick it up to "Thisafter noon". This was one of those load assingments where they dont give you all the info....I HATE THAT! SO after 10 messages with dispatch and 2 calls to the customer I finally had enough info to actully acept the load.

So They customer says it will be ready by 2:30-3:00pm the LATEST! So since I was doing a drop 'n Hook and I now know what traffic in TX like I left 30 minutes early so that I could drop my trailer and be hooked to the new one by the time they where done loading.....Well I get there at 2pm, back my MT into a dock and hook and pre-trip the new trailer, and go inside they say 30 min tops....then they all leave for a 1 hour lunch break! WTF then they come back and say 30 minutes. Then and hour later I go in and talk to there manager and she starts yelling at all the mexicans in spanish (I have NO idea what she was saying) but she told me 1 hour. Well another hour and a half later I finnally left after sitting there for 3 hours now that means I need to #1 drive all night and #2 I don't have enough hours left on my 14 to run the last 9.75 hours of my 11.

I wanted to actully SEE Texas but nope....



Anyway so I almost made it to NM at 2:15am this morning I finally got to stop, This loads going to the SFS Terminal so theres no hurry just get it there. I'm still 915 miles away . I hope I don't get stuck in CA for Christmas.....I HATE CA! I should be there friday by noon the latest.

Oh ya I heard about that, thats ok CA can just sink right into the ocean no one will miss it...
