Yeah the weather is really weird out here right now. There has been almost 30ft of snow in some parts of the mountains, and a crap load of rain already this year.

Hey AT if you are sent up I-5 of 99 after dropping in SFS toward Modesto let me know, maybe we can meet up.

    Have a safe trip

Hey AT, New here but I was wondering if W/S requires you to be ot that long or is that by choice??? Have seen their trucks around for years but never heard anything good/bad... seems like you enjoy it though!! Good Luck with Cali!!!

I think I got it this time. The Syracuse Chiefs, the AAA affiliate for the Washington Nationals baseball team, needs a new bat boy. AT's 5'7" and 115lb. This has got to be that dream job he's been waiting for. :yes2557:

He's out there that long by choice! W/S wants us to be out 2-3 weeks, you can stay out as long as you want.

I took a 10 hour break last night then did a pre-trip, then I drove 6 hours straight, took a 15 minute break, then drove another 4.75 hours. I'm now In Arizona Exit 17 on I-10 I can't rememeber the name of the town....I drove 792 miles today, took 12.5 hours.....:biggrin_255:. I'll explain below:

I drove from midnight until 1:45am then took a 10 hour break then I drove another 10.75 hours so Its really the total of 2 driving shifts but as far as the log is concerned its one "day".

So I figured out this "system" today....I sent a 61 to dispatch at about 2 or 3 pm her time today telling her when I would be MT and how many driving hours and total hours I'd have left for the day, In hopes that I could have somthing lined up by the time I got there tomorrow, as I remember hearing about the 50+ trucks sitting in SFS last week.

Well about an hour later I got a Pre-Plan I'm picking up a load from miller in Irwindale, ca and taking it to Missoula, MT...I havent had time to do much looking into the trip but I do know from SFS to Missoula is only 18 hours in good weather sooooo I have until the 27th to get it there so If I have enough hours to get to Vagas tomorrow I'll be talkling a nice long break there maybe even a 34 if i have time :biggrin_2559: I wonder how much $$$ I could lose in 34 hours haha

Anyway this WiFi here at this loves sucks its taken me 45 minutes just to load this page so this is it for tonight I'll post more tomorrow night gotta go to bed I have to be up in 7 hours!

AT, if you're at exit 17 on I-10, you're in Quartzsite, AZ. That's the route that my meet and greet partner and I use daily. He passes there every day 2 times. When you get into Cali, look for Desert Center, it's exit 192. That's where we meet every day. Nothing there but dirt areas big enough for us to do the trailer swaps...drive safe out there my friend. A lot of idiots out there during the holidays....Merry Christmas!!
