I drove 55 for far to long today!
I drove to the SFS terminal. dropped my trailer, then bobtailed over to miller picked up a loaded trailer there. There was another W/S there that I talked to he was suposed to pick up a loaded trailer yesterday and the guys at miller left before they finished loading it and hes been there ever since....
So I slid my tandems to where I thought they would be CA legal and be legal weight wise. Then I drove over to burrtec to use there scale and I had it right on the money, Steers: 11,220 Drives: 31,860 Tandems: 32,160 Gross: 75,290
Then I got to sit in bumper to bumper traffic for ever then do 10mph up every little hill but I made it! I'm sittin here at the TA Las Vagas! Not to happy though Everything's closed (food) except for the casinos but I'm not walking that far lol.
So I've never pulled a beer load that was loaded so Half ##* before, I had to stop and Spend $82 on straps just to sercure this mess. I'm attaching pics:

With as much of the weight on those skids and the way the pallets kind of locked the kegs in together, you would've been alright the first time around as long as if you werent driving the truck like the nascar. But it's never a bad idea to take extra caution. I'd say be more nervous about the center of load unless you've crawled around making sure things are ok, the pallets I see ahead of the kegs with cans lean real easy if they didnt shrink them enough. I had to haul empty kegs once and it was nearly impossible but somehow made it without a mess all over the trailer!
