so I got to the shipper a half hour early and they loaded me pretty quick which was nice. I made it 30 minutes down there road before I parked it.

THEN I made myself look like a COMPLETE IDIOT here at the Pilot! Now we all have days where we can't back to save our lives no matter how good we normaly are at backing.......and well I took it to a whole new level!:biggrin_2559:

So I pull in and see a nice spot easy to set up to get into between a Pete and a ugly white Vulva so I start to back in and I'm like nope I waited to long to cut it, so I pull up and the guy in the pete says cut it a little earlyer this time of course I new that but I thanked him for the tip anyway and proceded to mess it up again and again, so I decided to try another wider spot so I see one and start to setup and then I see 2 open ones side by side so I'm like how can I mess that up so I keep going and somehow forgot what truck I was going to back into and made myself look like a complete idiot until I figured out I mess up again, and then I took me another 15 minutes to get into a site side double wide spot!!!!!!! all the while holding up a swift driver...:biggrin_2559:oops.

So then now that I'm in my spot barly and couldnt get it right to save my life I give up since I'm in between the lines I just pull the brakes. Then swift does a u turn and tries to back in across from me and decided to try and show me how its done but he DIDNT look into that spot first.....:biggrin_2559: someone had left there flatbed trailer there and he didnt see it and almost backed into it and the truck next to it.....then he decided to go park in the no parking zone instead :biggrin_2559:.

anyway so I'm 99.9% sure I dont have the hours to get this load there, so hopefully they can repower this to get it the last 100 miles or so...

And I just read the BNR posted that the roads are horrible on I-5 yay and require chains:biggrin_25521:. If thats the case this load is going to be VERY late. I'll have to call dispatch in the morning and see if we can get something worked out so the customer get there stuff on time, I'd rather not have this be late...

Look UP! A lot of people mistake it for clouds. I am sure he saw it but didn't realize it was a mountain! Keep your eye out for Mt. Shasta coming down 5 in CAli. That's a big one too.

Yeah, A.T. we all have those days! Embarrassing as hell too! What's funny is when you are at your worst everyone is watching. When you are at your best and hitting tight spots with no pull-ups nobody is around! Oh well, what can you do. At least you had someone else there that was having a bad day too!
