if you have the RM GPS look for TS's next to Truck Dealerships to park at lots of them have free WiFi or ones with hotels right next door....

I don't always use the TS WiFi i use what ever signal is the strongest, sometimes its the TS sometimes its the idiots with the unsecured WiFi in the neighborhood next door lol

    This Post is Continued from:

    1 Month Review: Page 39 Post 383
    2 Month Review: Page 85 Post 848

This is for my 3rd Month with Watkins Shepard (December 3rd - December 30th)

    Miles:

    Week 9= 3313 Miles
    Week 10= 3181 Miles
    Week 11= 2909 Miles
    Week 12= 2913 Miles

    Total: 12,316 Miles
    Average Per Week: 3079 Miles

    Money:

    Week 9= $625.22
    Week 10= $456.56
    Week 11= $420.39
    Week 12= $825.96

Total: $2,328.13 (All these $ Amounts are Deposits "after Taxes")

I finally finished my 90 day probationary period, with NO accidents OR Tickets! Things are getting better, as far as miles and money are concerned. Considering the Holiday and the "seasonal Slow down" of freight I gotta say those mile above are pretty good. And as most of you know by now I got a New(er) truck December 7th, 2010. Still VERY happy that I made the choice to come to Watkins Shepard.

Also when looking at the money that those are the weeks that I got paid for the loads so they WILL NOT corrispond with the miles of the same week number.

i dont need wifi for this stuff, but i was playing black ops and i really wanted to play online since i have the whole day to myself. the fighting off zombies as castro kennedy nixon and whats his face i know it but i cant spell it haha, is hilarious. but i can only get to level 7 or 8 by myself.

do you post it as just the miles you did, or the miles you turned in? i dont know how you do it i never fedex things i just keep envelopes till im at a terminal, i get it where some weeks im getting paid a bajillion miles and now and then dont get anything.

when I do my reviews I do it from my logbook, So 7 days logs = a week, doing it by trip is far to confuseing lol.

I do the same thing with the envolopes, its not worth the effort to fedex it, I ushally hit a terminal if not then I just get a big paycheck later on lol

I sure wish I had some video games at time like this, if this 1st stop wont take there stuff tomorrow I'll be stuck here for another day:biggrin_25524:

I made dinner in my truck for the first time tonight! well unless you count PBJ. Anyway I made Raviolie haha mmm mmm good! 3.5 min in the microwave and done lol. I literaly spent like 5 minutes in the TS deciding between Raviolie/mac n' chees/soup/ chilli, I'm not used to all the choices! Ushally its just, "would you like fry's with that?"

If you can find a "Game Stop" or a place like that, you could pick up a previously owned XBOX 360, or any other game console for a reasonable price. You should look into it.

stay away from the chef boyard... that crap is bad for you! get yourself a crock pot, buy some beef and some stew stuff, you can cook all day while driving down the road, just use bungies to strap the crock pot down to the desk.
