OK so my first load went pretty well, we left Conover, NC at 6pm EST on Friday October 8th and dropped the trailer at the SLC yard at 1pm EST on Sunday October 10th. Not to bad if I don't say so myself (as I brush off my shoulder haha) 2057 miles and only 17 Out of rout miles (Construction detour 17 miles threw small town USA in NE at 10am is EST) everyone was looking at the truck like what in the H**l haha. Other then our little 17 mile adventure the only other thing we messed up on was fueling, we were not going to have enough fuel to get to our next fuel stop so I pulled into a Loves and called Dispatch they said just buy fuel and call....(Oh crap lol I need to call my Co driver and find out who to call haha) and they will add it to our fuel routing so no big deal.

I took a bunch of pics as I had never seen the Mississippi River/The great planes/St. Louis Arch, etc. It really sucks teaming though I can't sleep in a moving truck unless I trust the person driving. But I was still able to do 10.75 hours of the 32 hours of driving. It was an experience lol

Now I'm sitting with an empty at the SappsBros Truck Stop enjoying FREE WiFi and waiting on a load, as long as I don't move until 7AM EST I will have a 34 reset and will be good to roll. Thats what I'm hoping for anyway so I can get a good nights rest, probably not though I'll be to excited lol.

The only spots open here at the truck stop where Idle-Air spots ( I Though they went out of business but there are trucks hooked up here lol) so anyway I called the fuel desk and asked if I could park in one even If I don't pay for Idle-Air and she said sure just make sure you nose in. #### lol Now I have to back this big olé truck out of this spot tomorrow.....hopefully buy then every one else will be gone (One can always hope right?).

Here are some pics of my truck and from the Trip. I'll take more later we were hauling butt here so that we could all try to get a reset before we get a load on Monday, because we're not expecting to get one tonight.

My trucks not pretty, and it's Old but she's legal, safe, and pulls just fine!

    Nice pics, AT.

I hope you get some rest, you're going to need it. You may experience some fatigue until your body becomes acclimated to your new schedule. Make sure you pull over and rest if you become tired.

Can't wait to hear more about your up and coming journey!

Stay safe out there and keep posting. :biggrin_255:

What happend to the Fender? Tire blow out?

So far so good, seems to run good. Loose steering though, I'm going to see if I can get someone to check that for me.
