My Experiance with Watkins Shepard!

it all depends...on what you get and where you get it from. My first truck was a mess old POS but it got the job done. It came with a cheap CB and was wired for an inverter, and had a pioneer CD player with AUX jack.


My new(er) truck was washed and polished inside and out before I got it and I was able to get a new matteress from the terminal where i got it. It too was wired for an inverter and had a cheap cb in it, but this one has the freightliner CD player in it.


Some times you get lucky other times you get to clean and scrub an old truck lol

not yet, almost though about 6.5 hours from MY bed!

So today I get up to......... a foot of snow on my truck!!!!! and it was still comeing down good...


So I pre trip and cant leave because there are a bunch of idiots stuck in the TS so I had to wait an hour for them to get out.

Then I finnally hit the road at 06:30 and the roads are horrible and everyone wants to do 10mph!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then the snow + idiot plow convoys doing 15mph + morning rush hour in NY and NJ = a migrane from hell!


It took me from 0630 until 1115 to get from Exit 1 in MA to the NJ terminal should have been a 3.5 hour drive lol


Then I can't find an MT and I now have a broker yelling at me because dispatch told him there would be one there for me....and after an hour and a half of running around they had the trailer i brought in MT so I just took that lol And I made it to the shipper by 1400 and they close at 1530 so I just barly made it....They loaded 6 pallets abour 2.5 feet high with boxes of paper...9,000lbs thats it from NJ to NC!


Anyway so then I haul butt south towards conover and got stuck in 5mph traffic all the way here so i gave up here in Tom's Brook, VA at the loves for 10 hours then a 5.25 hour drive to conover then home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


I have to do my trip envolopes for my last 2 trips + this one now! ####...
