i don't doubt it, i've always said I was born in the wrong generation. The '60's-'90 were some of the best times in this country as well as the best period for music.

Luckily I've been able to see allot of the bands from back then, but I still missed out on sooo much.

AT, I left a lot of dead brain cells back in those years. Keep as many of them as you can young man.

So I bought this Rice cooker to put in my truck, and just tonight got to try it out before I decide whether or not to put it in the truck....

Well its awsome, usually I don't like cooking rice (real rice not boil in bag) as it takes to long and to much work. Well this thing is easy you just put the rice and the water in and it shuts off when its done and goes into warm mode until you unplug it...

I also learned (the hard way) what that little hole on the top is......I reached over it to grab something and got hit by the steam comeing out of it lol ooops!

it sure is nice to have home cooked food again...If I can figure out how im going to clean this thing in the truck its comeing out with me lol

Addition: whoda thought 8 cups of rice is too much for one person lol:biggrin_2559:

Give it a few years. That 8 cups of rice will turn into 8 plates at the buffet

Wonder if the liners for crock pots would work..... mines a 2 quart (crockpot) and the liners are pretty big.

Get 'em at Walmart... like 1.97 for 4. Should be over by the roasting bags, saran wrap, etc.

Dude that has to be my biggest petpieve(sp) I see guys fueling there trucks and they have their Blueparrot on their head like the President is going to call them and they can't miss the call, god forbid they ran into the crapper to go, and dispatch called to tell them of their next run.. or like the Swifties I see in every drivers lounge acrossed America waiting for their next load... I'm glad I'm here I think the longest I have waited for my next assignment is 12 hours and even then they said it wouldn't be senr to you till midnight but you will get something out of wherever it was.

AT enjoy your home time, we need you back out here, the boxes were full in Conover when I got my assignment, it looked like they had se eral multi stop runs.:yes2557:

If it is a steamer and not a@cooker then the steam will need to nake contact with the rice to cook it, what will the liners hurt for a trial? If they don't work lug in to the shower with you and clean it up for next time, I see a bunch of guys going in with dishes and stuff to clean while they are in the shower, hope this helps.

    AXE and American-Trucker Thank this.
