Easy day, drove 540ish miles to Sioux City, IA, I'm at the "Truck Heaven" Truck stop 5 miles from my 1st stop and they have FREE WIFI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:biggrin_25514:

I did my usual LTL run cal-cue-mal-ations today, well 5 minutes ago. And this is going to be a nice run provided no one messes it up like what normaly happens on these runs....

But I should be able to knock out all 5 stops real quick by 2:30 Central time the latest and then I can drive 3 HOURS :biggrin_2553: lol to the Pilot around the corner from my 1 st stop for tuesday, I should be there around 5:30-6pm so I should be able to get a spot if not....I WILL make one:yes2557:, its the ONLY real TS around.

Then All i'll have is 3 stops on tuesday and i'm DONE! yay

I hope it goes that well, I can't imagin it not, I have 5 stops in 3 citys in IA tomorrow and 2 of them are 400 feet apart!

i have a 500. the sound failed a couple months ago, not entirely bad because it annoyed me a good amount of the time, but i havnt even looked into exchanging it yet because i really dont want to be without even if it were for only 2 days haha.

i dont know how you do those multi stops without google. looking the sat pictures of all the #### little furniture stores saved my ### a couple times.

trucking without a gps is really like turning amish and using a horse and buggy to do it. you can do it that way and think your an old school ######, but all your doing is making it harder on yourself.

Talk to mark the Rand McNally guy in the GPS section of the forum he'll exchange it for you in person in conover....he posted his email and phone number in his signiture.

It would take you a week to do 20 stops with a map....sorry but type in the address and your off! I agree 100% with the amish thing :yes2557:

This is good to hear AT. I have been using GPS's for like 7 years or so. Used them on Snowmobile, Motorcycle, and my Pickup. I like my Garmin 755T it has some very nice features to it, but I know that it would not work of I make the jump and do the Trucking thing like you and many others.

Where have you seen the 700 for $450.00, I have seen it on Amazon for 500.

    Thanks

Seems like there is a Pilot I think, right off 40 not far from me. I think at the Candler Exit. May have to take a ride over there and look at one, if they have it.

    Thank you

In case anyone was looking for one of these, you can get it for $439.00 until the 15 of this month here --> http://roadtrucker.com/gps-truck-routing/tnd700-rand-mcnally-7-inch-gps-truck-routing.htm

I just ordered one, and that was the price I was charged.

Does W/S give you pre-routed directions? Or are you allowed to navigate yourself?
