It went fine, I have a freightliner and you can tell how hard the wind is blowing by how much of it is comeing through the door (everylittle crack even around the switches) winds were only 30-40mph so it wasnt to bad. Nice easy drive at 230am noone on the roads.

You have glasses that let you see the wind!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where can I get some of those????

I got up and went to do my D/H and they dont do D/Hs there WTF! So now I have to wait for them to load the trailer...at least I grabbed one with AirSlide Tandems!!!!!!!
BUT In my rush to get out of the terminal I didnt notice a light missing, so after getting loaded/fueled/scaled I had to go to TA at 1am to have a light fixed, and since I'm SUCH a nice guy (I just didnt feel like getting yelled at for waking him up again) I paid for it myself and I'll let them pay me back on payday instead of wakeing up the shop guy for aTCheck for $61.....
Anyhoo so then I decided since the Weather report on the FM radio said the winds were down to 30-40mph I would just go since I was already awake and had slept all day and night yesterday and haddent eatin since sunday night so I just wanted to get it over with so i could eat and get a free shower.
It was a nice easy drive, no big problems with the wind, a few big gusts but not even strong even to move me into the next lane...
I'm now at the TownPump in Billings, MT 4 hours from Helena just got me a free shower and now enjoying a nice $3.79 Ham sandwich, its pretty good!
I had my apt set for 1400 tomorrow thinking I wasnt going to run all night last night, so Im going to try to get to the terminal as soon as the shop opens so they can get me all fixed up before I deliver so I can eat/sleep after so I can be ready to get outa here before the snow comes back on thursday!
BTW Its 65 here
I think spring has finnaly sprong! (Thank God!)

Glad to see everything went well on your run AT. Sounds like you are getting pretty decent miles from W/S. Hopefully will be on the team soon!
American-Trucker Thanks this. -
Yeah that's Freightliner's patented air refresher system!
American-Trucker and wulfman75 Thank this. -
I also like to think that if the air is going through my truck it wont blow it over
American Truckerchompi Thanks this. -
Just be careful AT, you know you don't weigh much (what, about 80lbs soaking wet?). Make sure you don't get carried off to OZ by the wind when you get out of the truck to fuel or take a shower. I hear it's not a good neighborhood anymore.
Lilbit, American-Trucker and wulfman75 Thank this. -
