5 minutes later a 400lb yes HUNDRED pound, really sexy woman waddles out with her arms full of hotdogs and bags and bags of food (this is 10am.). So then after she climbs up into this nice looking truck, she blows me a kiss, puts it in 1st and IDLES out of the fuel island and around and pulls into another one and parks next to me and gets out and gets my phone number.SERIOUSLY!
So now im sitting at home waiting for a call tomorrow. :biggrin_25525:

Well so yesterday I get to conover and hook to my trailer (NO trailer issues!!!!) And they had my fuel routing haveing me fuel 75 miles Out of route because the computer thinks I was still in Asheboro, NC not in conover. So I call to get another fuel stop, no answer, started driving, called an hour later no answer so I left a VM and continued.

Well I was watching the GPS and I was running out of BIG TS's to fuel at so I just stoped to top off at a Flying J. Well they ran out of fuel and NO ONE SAID A THING on the CB!!!!!!!!1:biggrin_25510::biggrin_25516:

So I pull in not knowing then 2 minutes later I find out whats going on and now I'm blocked in by at least 20 trucks!! and NO one is smart enough to just say F it and keep on trucking....NOPE they all just sat and waited for the J tankers to fill the tanks and prime the system! WTF!!!!!!!

So an hour later I finnally got out of there, I was tempted to just park there for the night but I had only driven 2 hours...

So I continued on until I got to PA Exit 1 on I-79 there is this little TS the ONLY truck stop before Pittsburg, PA. So I pull in and the road is lined with trucks even though the road is lined with NO PARKING signs and luckily I was able to make a space next to NOT IN FRONT OF the dumpsters and another parrelell parked truck. I did pretty well paralell parking the truck, rather impressed myself I didnt think I was going to be able to fit her in there.

Then today, I drove the 1 hour to Pittsburg, PA for my first stop, go in backed in and then got a Call from Conover 3rd stop called them to say I can deliver tomorrow morning if I need to because of the snow storm...

So I was talking to the First stop and he said the call the secound stop because he just got off the phone with them and they're going home early!

So I call them and they say sorry were leaveing at 12 the roads are to bad you can deliver it on Sunday! and i was like WTF!!!!

So then I called the third stop and they said they'd take me today. So I head there. And BEEP there goes the QC I have a load for 0800 tomorrow morning, call dispatch no answer leave a VM and sent a QC asking for her to call.

2 hour later I pull into the 3rd stop (30 minutes from the 2nd stop the went home) all the way there it was snowing but to warm to stick and the roads where just wet....I see why they went home :yes2557: Wet roads sure are scary!:yes2557:

Any hoo so I try to back in....the dock is UPHILL and is coverd in snow and ice!!! FML So I had to hit it at 10mph but I did get it to the dock.

So I go in and tell them you have to go in SLOW with the forklift or the truck will slide away (NO DOCK LOCK) They say "no way, dont worry about it" so they fly in and BAM the truck slides and the dock plate falls down onto the lip over the trailers tail lights.....and the guy on the fork lift says "i think you need to back up some more" and his boss says "nah thats fine just keep going" so the next time he goes to go in the trailer BAM!!!! the dock plate falls out and the forklift pushed my truck away from the dock and the forklift fell and caught the edge of the trailer and the dock. So because they are IDIOTS!!! This kid almost died unloading my trailer.....

(the same thing happend at a warehouse in Charllote, NC in the summer of 2010 and the guy died instantly)

So then I got to argue with the idiot boss saying just back up, because I would slide forward and then his forklift would fall out of the dock and mess up the back of the BRAND NEW trailer i picked up in Conover. So I said NO!

So after 10 bags of salt 8 wheel chocks an hour and 20 peoples oppions and failed attempts to get the forklift back inside, I was finally able to back the truck up now that they went out and chiped away all the snow and ice with shovels and dumped 10 HUGE bags of salt around my drives...

So then they take an hour to unload. Then one guy takes the dockplate out before they reload the 2nd stops stuff (oops) so he goes to put it back in...and he breaks the chain off so now they cant get the plate up to reload my stuff!:biggrin_25510:

So then they say go to another dock, haha 20 minutes of getting stuck in the foot of snow with ice under it at all the other docks, they tell me to pull around to a big bay door and theyd just bring the forklift and a pallet jack outside to load me.

Then I went to the OH terminal and dropped my BEAUTIFULL brand new trailer :biggrin_2553:. But not before I got stuck in the foot of snow and ice!:biggrin_25510: The local driver tried to pull me with the yard truck with chains on it, no luck, so I pulled the fifth wheel and he pulled my tracktor out and now my trailer was stuck in the middle of the yard, so he was cool and backed it in for me while i had to chain up my truck so that I could get an MT trailer out of this mess we call a terminal :biggrin_25513:.

Then of corse the trailer needed to be fixed so I went to the TA next door and they fixed it, and the TCHECK system went down again WTF. then I drove across the street to the Pilot where I am now....Finnally after 13.5 hours I finnaly get to relax! I only drove 4 hours today, it was such and unproductive day.....

But I've been told by Walstib the my receiver doesnt receive on the weekend so I might have to do a 34 hour reset!:biggrin_25513: BUT If I can get to GA that might not be such a bad thing if its 70 out....But I sware if it gets cold down there/snows/ices/hails/or anything else not fun I'm going to be really mad :yes2557: :biggrin_2559:

I just watched speed channels American Trucker and sadly enough it wasnt based on you! Still a good show that featured Iowa 80 TS and the tractor from BJ and the Bear. Were you ate the Austintown terminal ? I remember pulling in there after a down pour and wondering "How the hell am I going to get through this mud" I wouldnt have made it even if i had 35" Super Swamppers on the drives, lucky enough the yard guy let me drop it in the street and brought me out an MT.

I know!!!!!!! I thought it would be about me too, I was kinda hopeing Tom Cruise would play me....but nope!:biggrin_2557:

    :biggrin_2559:

Yea that terminal is NO fun, the local driver or yard guy or whatever he is, told me to tell dispatch i refuse to go back until they do something about the yard, I just kinda laughed and said im sure that'll get them to fix it, and not paying $1000's every year for tow trucks.....:biggrin_2559:

I went and got loaded this morning, then drove 500 miles to Corbin, KY. I wanted to do a 34 reset on this run but i would end up stuck in monday morning traffic in ATL and not be able to make the 4 hour receiveing window my receiver has....

But I have good hours so I should be fine till next friday...

    Not a real eventfull day...
