nope apparently rich people are even mor stupid then i thought, they move there boats back and forth between MA and FL every season...:biggrin_2554: Then they also said the spring is "boat show" season and that brings in allot of biz too what ever that means lol. So he was saying every season as in all 4 have a differant type of biz that they get so you get to do slightly differant things as apposed to the same thing all the time...:biggrin_25526:

The reason for the hotels is they dont want the boats parked in a Truck Stop theres way to much electronics to be stolen out of them. (personally i would think theyd be safer in a TS with me in the bunk then in a MT hotel parking lot with me in the hotel room but whatever lol)

I dont want to move back because i have nothing there, all of my family that lived in Falmouth when i was growing up their is dead. My mom lives their now. MA is VERY exspensive to live espeically on the Cape...They have NOZI Vehical inspections up there!

I mean when i lived in Falmouth for 12 years I loved it, but I spent all day every day on the beach, on my freinds parents boats, etc. Life as an Adult isnt NEARLY as much fun :biggrin_2559:

    Here are my current options:

    1. Keep Doing What im doing

    2. Switch to East Coast Regional

    3. Switch to Flat Beds

    4. This boat hauling thing

    5. I also have a NEW NASCAR driving job offer....WAYYY better then the last one. I cant post details at the moment:biggrin_2557:

    6. I have a freind thats been leased to Allied Van Lines for 15 years and can get me a good paying job their.

    7. Buy my own truck...

See thats why my head hurts!:biggrin_2559:

Lets see where did i leave off?

I got unloaded first thing Friday morning, and headed to go pickup my next load in Watkins Glenn, NY. I get there and they load me, took them like 2 hours. I DID NOT like the way they loaded it i thought for sure i was going to be Over Weight. And the closest scale is 1.5 hrs SOUTH in PA!:biggrin_25510:

SOOO I headed south to this TS, and as I'm rolling into an intersection (3rd gear rolling, so as to give the cars time to backup) so maybe a wopping 5mph perfectly straight i hear..this LOUD POP! I though SHEET! the drivshaft broke...but I wasnt on the fuel:biggrin_25511: and when i hit the fuel i kept moving.....:biggrin_2556:.

So I finished the turn and pulled over and got out to see what was going to ruin my day....I couldnt find anything. So I kept going and I noticed the truck was leaning and pulling more then usuall so i stopped again to look. and this is what i found:

Uh oh!:biggrin_25524: SHEET! Thats not good! :biggrin_25513:

So I limped it off the road and into the TS with the scale, scaled my load

    12,600
    32,000
    32,000

    =76,000lbs SWEET!

and then i called the shop to get a # for a tow truck.

    10 hours and $1,876.72 Later I was rolling again:biggrin_25523:

I was going to call to repower the load after i scaled to make sure i was good, but then the whole break down thing happend, but dispatch desided to put me on another load anyway....Luckily for HIM the shop was willing to drive 3 hours to get the parts to fix my truck!

Anyway so since i didnt know much of anything about this next load, i hauled but back to conover, go there at 10:45am this morning.

I'm headed to just north of Chicago tomorrow for a monday delivery, no point in going today I'm only go as far as gary, IN theres no place to park around Chicago...

So anyway im home again for th day/night i'll leave really early tomorrow morning.

Got back to conover, hooked to my trailer and headed north west towards chicago. My paper work says APT 07/11 they forgot to put the freakin time!!!!!!!!:biggrin_25516: WTF

So whatever I've been to this sheety thomasville DC before, 1 dock blind side off a 4 lane 55mph road just outside Chicago, sunkin dock, with 3 inches of clearance on either side YAY ME!

So i made it 680 +/- to Hebron, IN. It's 1.5 hrs to the receiver tomorrow. They open at 7 and start to receive at 730 so i'll leave 2 hrs before 730 and hope i dont hit to much traffic or have someone in the only dock as they have no yard.

I have Just enough hours to deliver, get reloaded and make it back to cononver in time for hometime lol
