im go attempt to bring you all up to speed im sure i'll forget a few things but y'all will live :biggrin_25525:

Ok last post i was in WI i beleive. I left there made it to a Pilot just west of Columbus, OH. Did my 10+ waiting for hours to come around. Then left there early like 2 am i think to Head to MD. I get there....sry you are at the wrong place......"oh really well my bills and the load assignment say otherwise" well as usually shippers and receivers are stupid so i had to drive across town to another place same company just differant building.

Anyway i get there and i was pulling one of those just LOVELY trailers with 4 latches on the back...well they were putting up a fight so i took my left hand off the one on the left to use both hands on the right one (NOTE: THE HANDLES ARE NOT CONNECTED IN ANY WAY TO ONE ANOTHER) anyway so as the right one finally moved the left one comes UP then OUT then smacks me striaght in the jaw (felt like i got hit in the face with a baseball bat).

After unloading i went north to a Pilot on 95 in MD to wait for my 12:05am D/H which i then had to hammer down to NC for 2 stops one in raleigh, NC and one in Stedman, NC. (keep in mind im running off a BAD recap) I get my load and got BOTH stops off on time dispite AGAIN delivering to construction site with the normal Head up there arse construction workers.

Then i dead Headed all the way back to Conover and ran OOH for that day and the next day i was only getting 1 hour back so i just went home for a 34 (which was nice since i hadnt seen my Apt in 2.5 months it sure is nice to see what i pay $669 + utilities for :biggrin_25510:

Anyway then i get the Eden/Edison run (yay me :biggrin_25526:) so i do that mess and end up parked on the street in NJ in front of the terminal as usuall. I had been pre-planned for another load. Philly, PA to Carrolton, GA for a sunday delivery (this load SHOULD have been shipped the day before BUT the Broker WHO TOLD ME THIS HIMSELF for somereason, didnt go to work the day before) so the customer wanted their stuff Saturday....but since HE messed up dispatch told him i'd be there sunday morning. Fine By me.

Then I got a message from dispatch (conover is short on drivers when MT on Sunday DH to Conover)

Well while being loaded by 50 Cent i was looking at my route and my map....and figured out how i could deliver Saturday so i could be ready to roll out sunday morning from conover.

Well i get as far as NC around 930pm and CONOVER dispatch calls me :biggrin_2556:.....so are you going to be ready to roll in the morning? ME: :biggrin_2559: Um....no im in NC headed to GA then deadheading back to conover i'll be OOH when i get there but i'll be ready to roll out sunday. DISHPATCH: oh well i wont have anything for you until monday sometime.....

So now im seeing a 34 hr reset in the works IF i can make this work.

I made it too Blacksburg, SC within my 11 an 14 by minutes. Did 10 + pre-trip and ran down to carrolton, GA. This receiver SUCKS!:biggrin_25510: after that mess thanks to them wasteing my time i didnt make it back to conover until 8pm:biggrin_25510: when i should have been there at 4pm.

But oh well i had enough time to get a 34 by monday morning.

Then i sat at home waiting for a load then finnally got one left Conover at 1:45pm and drove to Raphine, VA (Wilco/Hess) (4 hr work day)

Next day 10/04/11 i did 3 stops across VA then deadheaded back to conover. and went home for a 10.

Then i got a load that yet again someone dropped the ball on which of course now becomes MY problem to Woodridge, IL. I get it there and then got sit for the night at a pilot in Minooka, IL.

3am i grab my D/H up the street and head to Shelby, NC i've done this load before easy run. I had planned to get to Dandridge, TN then deliver around 0600 the next day (D/H at receiver too) then DH back to conover for a weekend load to delvier monday so i can get a load home for HMT by wensday.....

Well my truck had other plans it decieded to DIE on a State Scale, i got it started and outta there before the idiots in the booth even knew what happend. Got to the Richmond Terminal down the road dropped trailer and braught the truck to the shop up the street for a new radaitor. Meanwhile W/S treated me to a very nice Best Western Hotel for the night.

Next day im back in my truck and rolling at 1:30pm so only 26 hrs of down time. Enough to mess up MY plans but i had it covered i got my load delivered the day i wanted later but the same day. Then Picked up the same trailer i dropped there last time i was there months ago lol.

Got back to conover and did a 10 while trip planning the load im on now. 12 stops in VA then DH back to conover for HMT. I also need 4 new drive tires so i'll take care of that before i go home as well as drop it off a BR for service while at home.

I got 1 stop off sunday even though they were not open and then 5 off today. I have 5 to do tomorrow, then 1 wensday morning 0700 then DH back to NC.

    ALSO:

As of 10/07/11 I have been Offically Employed by W/S for 1 yr!

I drove 13,260 miles for september (would have been 500 more had september had 31 days like i thought it did)

I have Driven 133,747 miles in my first Year!

    Not to shabby considering;

    Lots of LTL
    New To OTR
    Lots of 34's
I take 5-10 days off every 2 or 3 months

I'll figure out the $$$$ while on hometime. I will also post my mile break down per month for all 12 months.

Not much else has happend been running like crazy with all these miles.

OH and thanks to 13k+ miles in September i FINALLY made Platinmum at LOVES! But my luck i'll be home for 8 days and i did a 34 at home and a night in a hotel so far this month so im sure its going to be wasted :biggrin_2557: oh well.

im now in Tom's Brook, VA waiting till tomorrow for a receiver to take there "stuff" they wouldnt take today because its "monday"

I think Watkins pays hub miles so it should be both. :)

    Thanks!

Those are actual Miles right off the Odometer which also happens to be how we get paid like wulfman said. So all are paid miles.
