I actually just asked that question/started a thread in the regulations section-asking you made me wonder and it will be interesting to see the answers!!!

I have found a bunch of threads on it but I can't find the one that says what you do if the change happens during your driving period. For some reason I seem to remember thinking I want to be driving at the time (so I can drive 12 hours) but I can't find the thread OR any FMSCR Regs online that say anything about the time change.......Stupid government lol

    Hey AT
seems like so far no ''real'' answer to the HOS question on my thread related to the time change. I see Dieselbear floating around in the thread maybe he will shead some light on this for us.

well even if they dont specify i dont see how they could possibly like anyone driving 12 hours, even if it was 11 on paper.

You would most likely make up for/or lose the extra hour in the sleeper birth (just like at home: gain an hour of sleep in the fall, or lose an hour in the spring). 11,14,70 rule is pretty inflexible. I think I can find out that answer tomorrow.

I wouldent test it, your log book will still have you ended in 11 hours, but honestly do you really want to drive that extra 60 miles? Just park it and be safe. Act like the time change doesnt matter and drive on the old clock until off.

Just like time zones dont change how much time you can drive, you log by one area..

    Wedge Thanks this.
