    im way behind here:

Unloaded Monday in SC and deadheaded to conover, got a 5 stop load in OH that i had to RUN with. Got all the stops off, last one was at the austintown terminal (all stops were on tuesday).

Then I got a load from Cleveland, OH to Kernersville, NC after doing the 5 stops and going all the way BACK to cleveland i had just enough time to fuel and make it to the TA in North Canton, OH.

This morning i got up at like 3 am so that i could deliver in NC then make it back to conover and go home for a long 10 and go back out thursday morning....

Well.....my truck had other plans, I leave the ta 65mph Down I-77 SB 9 miles south of the TA and BOOM! The drivers side front leaf spring broke:biggrin_2553:

So i got to sit at the Truck stop at the next exit for like 5 hours till the shop opened so i could get a shop to fix it. I had to call like 8 places and all said anywhere from end of the week to next week until they could get it in :biggrin_2554: But then i finally found a shop and the guy says "we dont do springs.......well i guess i can come take a look at it and see what i can do...."

so he comes out in his service truck and decides he'll do it...but not tow it to his shop and do it :biggrin_25513: that would be the proper way to do it :biggrin_25523: But instead he jacked it up in the McDonalds parking lot i was sitting in and fixed it right there.

By the time that was all fixed i had yet another 10 done and headed south and fueled then delivered.

Now im home dispach said he'd call friday with load info for a load to leave saturday.....I'm tired anyway been awake for 23 hours now.

I'm not 23 or I would go with Maverick. I'm thinking Roehl. I might just try and stay local though.

I'm at home now doing a long 34. I have to sell my boat before i can buy a new one. I'm on the List to switch to flatbed, i have to wait for 5 drivers to quit, retire, get fired before i'll get to switch.

You can add "or give up being on the waiting list" to that list. Maybe you could engineer a few 'accidents' :biggrin_25525:

They will want a handful of people at once so there's only one orientation. If they can get a headache rack on your truck that would help, too. they can't get them on some due to the battery location.

You can have my slot. I turned in my flatbed a couple weeks ago and hired on with a well servicing company in North Dakota.
