Just call Missoula and ask for him! He sits over with dispatch. Nice guy, used to run flatbed.

You have to be willing to go to Canada and able to get in. In talking with other drivers the chances of actually going to Canada is slim.

Kristy in Missoula told me that drivers from WA, ID, and MT usually go to Canada if they have passports and such...

Riders after probation, you pay for the insurance. Equipment is decent from what I've seen. I've had minor issues with my rig but it is an 05 Freightliner with 550k on it and who know's how well the drivers before me took care of it. The miles are there if you wanna run!

I didn't mean they usually go, I meant they are usually the ones to go... sorry for typing faster than I can think.

That's probably true, but I was also told that it's the same group of drivers that do it, almost like a dedicated. Doesn't matter to me, I run where I'm told!

most of my runs have been between 1000 and 1500 miles, they have more miles then you can run, I've never sat more then 1 hour waiting for a load. The equipment is pretty good some of of its old 2004-2010 but they will fix any problems without question or trying to get you to run with somthing illegal.....

So I got those last three stops off without any problems, and had another load before I even finished unloading...

I deadheaded 2 hours to pick up this load, and it delivers monday the 29th in NC lol I have 7 days to go 1300 miles, I think they were trying to get me home for thanksgiving weekend...As much as I appreciate that I asked if I could deliver early and no go since the customer is closed thur-sun for the holiday but she did say to check with dispatch in conover to see if I can drop it and have it repowered on monday morning, so that I can grab another load and keep going. So thats what I'll be doing tomorrow (running to conover asap and hopefully getting a load to run over the weekend.)

Funny story: So I get to my secound customer to day and as I get out of my truck after backing in it was really smokey around my truck I was like WTF, as I look behind the sleeper theres smoke Pouring out of this thing (not sure what it was at the time) and I was like "OH ####" lol. So i'm thinking my sleepers on fire so I open the door so I can pop open the side box to get the fire exstinguisher and there NO smoke in there......:biggrin_25511: so I thought about it for half and secound and listened and I could hear the bunk heater running......hmmmmmm.... then I looked around back again and finally figured out what that pipe was (that where the smoke was comeing out of) its the Exhaust for the bunk heater :biggrin_2559:. I have read on the forum about somthing with this new diesel causeing the bunk heaters to smoke at startup but I've never been outside my truck when I turned it on lol and it hasn't been working lol

So long story short no fire just me being retarded :biggrin_2559: But it did scare the crap outa me for a secound though lol

I just turned it on again to see if I can get it to work and so far no go, but lots of smoke outside lol
