Yeah I guess sitting that long would wear thin quick!! A bit of time to catch up but 4 days !!! I have been in a motel room since Tuesday PM not that much bigger but LOL at least I have running water 4 feet away. Thankful I brought the laptop while TruckerDave (visiting him in Ohio) is working so I have something to do--shopping is not my thing so I have stayed in the room mostly. I did buy a flat screen TV on Friday.....LOL!!

Hey A.T. Do they run paperless at WS? If not when you do little repairs like mud flaps and such at the end of the day back up and re-write your logs. Just put on your pre-trip that you fixed mud flap. I know 15 min. isn't a lot of loss but it all adds up and you may need some of those little increments of time when you are running hard. If you are running paper logs take the staples out of the book and mix them up so that they aren't in numerical order. This way if you ever "need" to re-write your day it will not be noticeable. Also another very important tip is not to keep more then your 8 days in the truck. Mail them home or something. Plus do not keep any garbage logs or thrown away logs in the truck ever! Toss them as soon as possible. This just opens up the door for them to question things. If they search your truck and find log pages re-written or corrected then they will question the hell out of you. Though it is legal also try not to use white-out or scratch out mistakes. Just get a new page and re-write everything.

Im not sure how it works for the 3 day orientation which I'm assumeing is what you will be doing but for the 10 day Its $100 on monday and $100 on the following monday and $200 with taxes removed after you finish orientation.

Nope I'm still sitting here empty at the truck stop going on 56 hours here so far lol. I'm guessing I'll get a load tomorrow at some point once dispatch gets in.

i dont invent my logs like some guys but lets just say i always round down when i can lmao. like choompi said the more time you can keep the more money you can make...just always check the miles vs drive time so it doesnt show you speeding. and dont cut the miles tooo much if it is over.

i DONT log every little thing on duty. i do 15 for fuel and pre trips and 15 for a drop/hook and 15 for an unload. if i unload i am into the sleeper so that crap isnt eating my hours. and i do it 9 times out of a 10, i get in there and watch a movie or whatever so i call it legit!
