    i have a lot of good connections, jdm cars are basically my passion in life. i imported it back when it was a little easier to do. i will probably grab another if i ever have the time, prices are really good right now stateside.

    ya I got a connection at a place in Canada that I can get anything from japan cheap and brought to the U.S. I have 2 Friends with Skylines one is a 1989 R32 @1000HP and ones a 2000 R34 @850HP both of these guys are great with cars they own a shop together

    Now that I am making more $$ and my cost of living is going to go down when I get rid of my Apt I'm going to start picking up the cars I want to build and store them for now

    I'm not all about Japanese cars I like my American Muscle too!

    reasonably quick???? Skylines are capable of 1000+HP without any major engine modifications!

    well they can hit 600 on stock internals, you do need to build it to hold more reliably. but there are 1200hp streetable cars out there in other parts of the world, the rb is serious business. mine blew up and i was spending a fortune rebuilding it thats why i let it go.

    im gonna stick to american made from now on, but i will keep the JDM's for gran turismo 5...oh and my wifes corolla. LOL :biggrin_25525:
