I worked with many of those big baby elite drivers. You know the ones, always running to the terminal manager whining that someone got more hours than them, someone has a truck 2 mph faster, ect. Those were some of the most jealous, immature people I ever worked with. I also worked with some very good people, but the better the company, the bigger babies they seemed to be.

i am on Layoff from YRC as a P/D driver. I just transfered to the break bulk terminal for line-haul as they have the work. Its about a hour away which isnt too bad as I wont be home every day. I am a year older than AT, but I know when to watch myself and how to handle things better. Think its because my parents cut me off at 14 when I got my first job.
Anyways I might start a thread on YRC line-haul as I do get quite a few questions in PM which I am not too sure of and I ask another member on her to answer them. -

Line-haul is diff everywhere. I know ABF, UPSF, YRC, Estes, and Old Dominion are similar as you mainly just drive to the location, maybe stay out a night. CWF, FedEx, R&L, and Central are similar as they make the drivers work the dock at either the location hub or back at your hub.
First off where are you applying too
Also im still awaiting the transfer, going tuesday to finish paper work -

And the fella send out a thank you, did not want his feelings hurt when he never heard back. Seemed like the proper thing to do.
Speedemon1084 Thanks this. -
