    Whaddya, nuts? Why the hell would you put up with that? You ought to put your foot down and insist that you'll accept absolutely nothing more than $400/wk. Furthermore, you should explain that if they think you're going to go home every day, they're kidding themselves--you want to sleep in a box in a truckstop parking lot or there'll be hell to pay!! :biggrin_25510:

    And tell them to take that accessorial pay and stick it where the sun don't shine. Your goal should be to work 100 hours per week, log 70 and get paid for 40, if that. Otherwise, you're just a whiner, a pussius maximus, and not in any way a Real Trucker. Stop working at a real job and learn to suck it up!!

    thats gross before taxes. Take home was $670.38 the check was $80 shorter then normal because i only did 1 run to burlington that tuesday (normally would have been 2 runs) So normal take home should be $710-$750 a week after taxes

    That's it? I wouldn't be working all nights for that...Thought all of you LTL drivers made 100k a year?

    top pay sure, not the new guys lol. And our top pay is only like $80k we're not even in the same sport as UPS/FedEX/Conway/ABF/YRC
